Class begins with 30-minutes of stretching and gentle yoga to physically prepare your body for the deep relaxation practice called "Yoga Nidra" (yogic sleep), a guided meditation where you rest and are led through various stages of relaxation.
Intention: You set a personal intention (sankalpa) for the practice.
Body Scan: You are guided to rotate your attention systematically through different parts of the body.
Breath Awareness: You observe your natural breath and may be guided to control your breath to calm the nervous system.
Visualization: You are guided through imagery to balance emotions and energy.
